Conflict is natural. Internal and external conflict is a part of life. Often, we think life is supposed to always be happy, yet we meet with the reality that every day is not overflowing with happiness. Many days are filled with challenging situations and challenging relationships.
Each day is filled with both joy and adversity. We must learn tools to effectively navigate the challenges in our lives both internally, the battle within ourselves, and externally, the battle we fight to have healthy relationships with others.
Deciding to seek profession help through therapy can be a challenging decision to make. Sifting through trying to find the right therapist that fits your needs can often be difficult. From the beginning, I strive to meet you where you are by cultivating and nurturing a collaborative effort in fostering a genuine, caring, and empathetic relationship. This journey is to empower each client with the psychoeducation, insight, and tools needed to build healthier and more effective coping skills. The new skills obtained through therapy help clients build greater capacities for future problem solving and creating more meaningful relationships.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You won’t find “one size fits all” therapy here. When a cookie cutter approached is use, it fails to take into consideration the immense differences that exist in each one of us. We are individually unique, and our treatment plan should be tailored specifically toward our individuality. I tailor each treatment plan to meet each client’s specific goals and needs. I utilize an integrative approach of effective techniques and interventions allowing clinical flexibility to discern what works best for each client
